Privacy & data

Your yacht’s information
stays your yacht’s.

Owners trust their crew with where they go, who they are with and when. BridgeOpsX keeps that trust. Here is exactly how.

Only the operations chat groups.

BridgeOpsX reads the operations chat groups the captain wants. Nothing else. No private chats, no other groups, no phones.

On the vessel’s own computer.

The AI runs on a computer on board, one per yacht, never shared. Your messages are read, sorted and stored there. The live picture and the record never leave the vessel.

The captain decides who sees it.

Only the people the captain or the vessel’s contact approves can see the overview, on the bridge, an iPad or a phone.

We come aboard only when invited.

We have no standing access and do not monitor the vessel from ashore. When we need to troubleshoot, service or update the system, we ask the captain first, for a stated purpose and a limited time. You can end the session at any moment.

Every session is logged.

Who connected, when, why and what was done. The log is yours to see on request.

Your data is yours.

Messages, vessel information and settings belong to you. They are used only for your vessel. They never train a model for anyone else without your written consent.

Guests stay discreet.

We recommend that crew refer to guests by codes rather than names. BridgeOpsX works the same either way, and the operational picture never needs a full name.

Public demos run on sample data in the cloud. Your vessel’s data never does.

Encrypted.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Your chat app stays.

The crew uses a chat app they know. Messages travel through that app as they do today, under its own terms.

Clean exit.

At the end of the pilot or the subscription you choose: keep the data, get a full export, or have it deleted. Deletion is confirmed in writing within 30 days.

Questions from the owner’s office?

We answer security and data protection questionnaires in writing, and walk your IT or legal team through the setup before anything is installed.
